I recently stopped by Jimmy's Eastside Diner on Biscayne Blvd for breakfast, and it was a comfortable, casual experience. The diner has a classic, laid-back feel, and the staff was friendly and welcoming.

I ordered a hearty breakfast plate, and everything was fresh and well-cooked. The portions were generous, and the food had that familiar, comforting diner taste. The atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy the meal without feeling rushed.

Overall, it’s a dependable spot for a simple, satisfying breakfast or lunch. I’d definitely return next time I’m in the area.

We parked at this diner because we had plans to eat there and just walked to a nearby ATM first. This man came outside and immediately told us to move our car. We explained we were coming right back, but he got hostile, so we moved to street parking across the road. Then, while we were walking back from the ATM, he came outside again telling us we couldn’t park in the lot even though our car was already gone. He stood outside watching us for several minutes after that. The food and service inside are good, but the interaction was uncomfortable enough that we don’t plan on coming back.

Jimmy’s East Side Diner was an absolute home run! I ordered the meatloaf, and let me tell you—it was hands down one of the most savory, flavorful meatloafs I’ve ever had. Every bite tasted like a true homemade meal.

The fresh mashed potatoes were perfect, with just the right amount of lumps to remind you they were made from real potatoes, not a box. The steamed broccoli was cooked to perfection—tender, vibrant, and not overdone.

If you’re looking for delicious comfort food that’s made with care, Jimmy’s East Side Diner is a must-visit. Great food, generous portions, and a meal that leaves you planning your next visit. I highly recommend it!

We have been coming to eat at this restaurant for several years, and the food has always been excellent. I have never had any complaints about the quality of the meals. However, today I left feeling very disappointed because of the way we were treated by the elderly gentleman at the entrance.

He refused to let us enter with our service dog. Before we even had the chance to walk inside, he stopped us. We calmly tried to explain that our dog is a trained service animal, and we even showed him the service dog identification card, but he refused to listen and repeatedly insisted that he would not allow the dog inside.

We have visited this restaurant many times with our service dog and have never experienced any problems before. Our dog is well-trained, behaves appropriately, and has never caused any issues for the restaurant or its customers.

What disappointed us the most was not only that we were denied entry, but also the way we were treated. The gentleman was dismissive and did not show the respect or professionalism that customers deserve. We hope the restaurant provides better training to its staff regarding service animals and customer service so that no one else has to go through this experience. Sadly, what should have been an enjoyable meal turned into a very upsetting situation.
And if the place says service dogs can pass, it doesn't make that much trouble, I don't think it will come back anymore if there's someone like that guy.

This place is the real deal. Proper diner food at decent prices and an authentic diner vibe. We came here twice, for breakfast and lunch. There were plenty of seats for breakfast, but the lunch slot was very busy. Totally worth the wait, though.
